The Autronica BD-501/EX is an interactive heat detector designed for hazardous zones (Zone 0, 1, 2) and can only be used with the AutroSafe BZ-500 barrier. SelfVerify technology automatically tests all components every 24 hours, minimizing false alarms and increasing system reliability. It is unaffected by dust, moisture, exhaust gases and electromagnetic fields, making it ideal for harsh environments such as industrial, marine and offshore. It can operate in classes A1, A1R, A2S, B, C and has an IP56 protection class in accordance with EN 54-5 and EN 54-17 standards. It can operate in a temperature range of -20°C to +80°C and is resistant to high humidity environments.
