Kongsberg FW ID, RTB420 (326843) Remote Input/Output Module
The Kongsberg RDIOR420 is a remote input/output module used in Kongsberg Maritime automation systems. The 16 solid state channels can be individually configured as digital inputs or outputs. In addition, the 16 relay channels are equipped with normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) contacts. The module provides a reliable connection to the host with dual RBUS A and RBUS B interfaces and offers redundancy, increasing system resilience. Features such as surge protection, comprehensive diagnostics, online channel configuration and self-test simplify installation, replacement and software updates. Operating with 24 V DC input voltage, the module typically consumes approximately 8 W of power. It has an IP20 protection rating and can operate in a temperature range of -15°C to +70°C, making it an ideal solution for a variety of industrial applications.
