Danfoss KVP 12 Evaporation Pressure Regulator (034L0021)
KVP type pressure regulators are designed to maintain constant evaporation pressure and therefore constant temperature of the evaporator surface. The regulator is installed in the suction line behind the evaporator and gradually regulates the evaporation pressure. By throttling the refrigerant into the suction pipeline, it adapts the flow rate to the load of the evaporator. The KVP 12 regulator is compatible with various refrigerants such as R134a, R22, R404A, R407C, and R507A, as well as as oil-free refrigerants like R1234ze(E) and R513A. It features flare connections with an inlet and outlet size of 1/2 inch (12 mm), supports a maximum operating pressure of 18 bar (260 psig), and operates within an ambient temperature range of -45°C to 130°C. The factory-set pressure is 2 bar (29 psig), and it is certified with C UL US LISTED, EAC LLC CDC TYSK, and RoHS approvals, ensuring reliability and compliance for various cooling applications.
